Brian Jankowski Fine Tuning A Students Game

Need Golf Instruction? What is GolfTEC?

A Brief Overview of GolfTEC's Services

By Brian Weis

Brian Jankowski, Director of Instruction GolfTEC-Wauwatosa, answers some frequently asked questions about GolfTec and the services they provide golfers.

Briefly describe the services you provide at GolfTEC?
GolfTEC utilizes five factors to achieve our "Proven Path. Proven Results."

These factors include:
* Fact-Based Diagnosis consisting of High Speed Video Analysis, 3D Motion Measurement, and Ball Flight Simulation.
* Sequential Lessons and a unique Gameplan from your Certified Personal Coach.
* Video-Based Practice utilizing our technology so you can ensure you're practicing correctly.
* Advanced Retention Tools - Each member receives a "weblesson" to review online after every lesson.
* Precision-Matched Clubs - Included with every Gameplan is an unbiased clubfitting to optimize performance.

In addition to lessons at our facility, we also offer outdoor lessons to work on full swing, short game, putting, and on-course playing lessons.

What types of golfers do you work with? Are you geared for golfers going pro, beginners or the weekend warrior?
GolfTEC works with golfers of ALL skill levels, ranging from plus handicaps to beginners. Our technology helps us accurately diagnose the issues a golfer has, allowing us to give you the most simple instruction possible. We will never overwhelm you with information and generally a golfer will only be working on one piece at a time.

One of your services is the swing evaluation. What happens during the swing evaluation and what can a golfer learn?
The Initial Swing Evaluation is the first step in getting started with GolfTEC. During this session, we will get to know you and your golf game including your frustrations and goals. From there, we will analyze your golf swing showing you cause and effect. We will ultimately find the root cause of your frustrations and determine what steps need to be taken to eliminate these issues. Once we see the state of your golf swing, and understand your frustrations and goals, we will recommend a unique Gameplan for improvement. Gameplans include lessons, practice time, and a clubfitting session. Everything is specific to you and your goals, we understand not everyone is looking to become a tour player.

For a limited time, our Swing Evaluation is on sale for only $95, normally $125. View details here >>

What type of programs/packages do you have to help a golfer improve?
We offer what we call "Gameplans". Gameplans consist of lesson "credits" that can be used for any type of lesson both at our facility or outside on the range or on the course. Gameplans also consist of video-based practice at our facility using our technology. In each practice session, the student will work specifically on what they were taught in their last lesson. Using the video, you ensure that you are working on the correct motion. When you are outside, because you cannot see yourself, how do you know if you're doing it right? With video-based practice, the doubt is eliminated. Finally, Gameplans include a clubfitting session. This unbiased fitting will determine based on your unique golf swing, what specifications you should have for your clubs. Having correctly fitted clubs will help optimize your performance as well as eliminate swing compensations due to ill-fit clubs.
