Wild Rock Golf Club Announces Three Promotions


Wild Rock Golf Club at Wilderness Resort recently announced three promotions.

Pat Stein has been promoted to Director of Golf Operations. In this role, Stein will oversee the golf, food and beverage and maintenance operations for Wild Rock. Stein had been serving as Head Golf Professional for the past 13 years. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing with a minor in Golf Management from Ferris State University. He is a PGA member certified in golf operations and is also a member of the Golf Merchandisers Association. He and his family reside in Waunakee, Wis.

Josh Glendenning has been promoted to Head Golf Professional. In this role, he will oversee day to day golf operations of the golf shop. Glendenning has been with the company since 2010, serving as First Assistant/Tournament Coordinator. Prior to joining Wild Rock, he worked for Pinnacle Peak Country Club in Scottsdale, AZ for five years. He holds an Associate's degree in Golf Complex Operations and Management from San Diego Golf Academy and is a PGA member. He and his family reside in Portage.

Scott Mowatt has been promoted to First Assistant/Tournament Coordinator. In this role, Mowatt will be assisting Stein and Glendenning in all aspects of the golf course. Mowatt has been with Wild Rock for over 2 years and is in the process of finishing up his PGA apprenticeship. Prior to joining Wild Rock, he worked for Pinnacle Peak Country Club in Scottsdale, AZ for four years as an outside service manager. Mowatt holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix and an Associate's degree in Golf Management from San Diego Golf Academy. He and his wife, Caitlyn, reside in Portage.
