Fall Indoor Golf League Registration Open

Registration is now open for the Fall Indoor Golf League at Baehmann's Golf Center in Cedarburg. As the weather turns colder it's always warm inside on their state-of-the-art simulator. Baehmann's gives area golfers a way to stay social and spend time with friends and family while keeping up their golf games. Golfers can enjoy playing famous courses from around the world like Scotland's famed St. Andrews or Florida's TPC Sawgrass. The 6-week Fall League starts the week of November 7th. Their 12-week Winter League starts the week of January 9th and features separate divisions such as: Open, Women, Senior & Junior. Teams consist of two golfers, who pick a one-hour slot at their convenience they can play each week. All teams will play the same 9 holes at a different course each week in Best Ball format, with handicaps adjusted every two weeks. "With the arrival of Fall and more unpredictable weather conditions, it's nice to offer a way for golfers to continue playing in a comfortable atmosphere," said Kurt Baehmann, their Director of Operations. The cost is $85 per person for the Fall league and $170 for the Winter league, or about $14 per person per week. The signup form can be found on their website at www.golfcedarburg.com, and you can call the pro shop with any questions at 262-377-0768.

The simulator is also open for daily play outside of the league, and Baehmann's serves food to go along with beer so golfers can enjoy a brat and a cold one while golfing with family and friends, much like they do in the summer months. They serve hot dogs, brats and pizza along with both macro- and micro-brew beers.

The indoor golf simulator is an enclosed space that combines a hitting area and video screen. Golfers use their own clubs and hit into a screen, while the ball continues on into the video, to simulate real play on any of 134 courses from around the world. With a flatscreen and DirecTV, players can watch anything from The Golf Channel to their favorite game on ESPN while hanging out with friends. The cost for open play is $30 per hour, split between everyone who plays. The pro shop is open 7 days a week from 10am to 10pm.
