Indoor/Outdoor Golf Ball and Game

Bonzi Golf, a Milwaukee based company, invented a unique foam golf ball that can be used for practice or in combination with accessories to play an indoor/outdoor game.

The Ball

The foam ball is unlike any other practice golf ball on the market. While the material of the ball is similar to others, the main difference is the a large dimple in the ball. This feature allows the ball to simulate ball lies and conditions - rough, fairway, sand, wind etc. In addition, the dimple also helps to disrupt the aerodynamics of the ball which significantly reduces it's flight. The ball flies approximately 1/8 of the distance of a normal golf ball.

The balls can be purchased by themselves or with one of two game packs. Individually, a set of 6 balls retails for $9.95

Indoor Game - ACES - $14.95

The ACES game pack includes a set of three balls and a small hitting pad perfectly bundled in a tin container that doubles as the game's target.

This video best demonstrates the product and the game. What it doesn't share is the game's addictive qualities. My office enjoyed a better part of an afternoon playing for quarters.

Outdoor Game - LINKS - $39.95

The LINKS game pack includes two sets of balls and two larger green targets. While the snow on the ground kept use from playing outside, we did enjoy hitting the balls in our conference room. After testing it, Bonzi Links will join our stable of backyard games often played during parties and family get-togethers.

Conclusion
The ACES and LINKS games are no brainer gifts for the golfer in your life. If you are that person, pick up one of the sets and enjoy the fun!

Caution: The products come with a humorous warning label. "Your golf game may improve, but if played at the office, your employment status may not. Plan your shots and excuses accordingly."

Being in the golf business, we had an excuse to play for a few hours. I did manage to win enough money to pay for lunch, so it was time well spent.

While we did not get a chance to play with the LINKS game outdoors, I have a feeling this will be a big hit at our next family gathering.
