The Golf Courses of Lawsonia offer two distinct championship golf courses. The famed Links, designed by Langford and Moreau, perennially mentioned as one of the top 100 public and top 100 classic golf courses in the country and the highly regarded Woodlands. The Links is known for its' deep fescue, penal bunkers, and huge, slick, undulated putting surfaces, while the Woodlands is widely appreciated for its' tree-lined fairways, natural beauty, and abundant wildlife.

Lawsonia offers 36 holes of championship golf, Langfords Pub - a full service bar and restaurant open daily, along with some great lodging options for stay-and-play packages.

What Tips or Local Knowledge Would You Provide To Help Them Score Better At Your Course?
As should be expected on a links course, the greens play not only fast, but firm. Play to the front/middle of the greens and plan on the ball releasing when it lands. Shots will add up quickly around the greens if you start missing long and are scrambling to get up and down from around the severely elevated putting surfaces.

What Is The Signature, Most Talked About, or Most Photographed Hole?
The most talked about hole on the Links is the par 3 7th. Affectionately known as the "Boxcar Hole." Legend has it train cars were used as the base for the drastically elevated green. Miss the green short or right and you will have little doubt.

What Is Your Favorite Hole? Any Tips to Play It?
I love all the holes. I do have a soft spot for hole #7. As a kid I played the golf course a lot and often dropped many balls in front of the green and hit big flop shots to the green. The best way to play it, is hit the shallow green. Easier said then done.

Must Have Dish or Drink after the round at the 19th Hole?
If you are anywhere near Green Lake on a Friday you have to come to Langford's for the Fish Fry, it's phenomenal. For the lunch crowd, the Gourmet Grilled Cheese with any of Rocky's famous soups are a must try.

Who Holds Course Record and What Was Their Score?
Wisconsin State Golf Association Hall of Famer Jim Schuman holds the course record on The Links after firing a 9-under-par 63 in a WPGA Section event.
