Lake Mills Golf Club Reopens Under New Ownership April 7

The Lake Mills Golf Club will reopen under new ownership April 7, 2012.

Randy Chwala, one of the new course owners, will focus on updating the course. "I know it won't happen all at once, but we do have a great plan to tackle improvements," he said.

When the new owners took possession over the winter, they worked on updating existing equipment and buying new equipment. They also updated the satellite system for better irrigation.

New golf carts were also purchased, and they will be delivered shortly.

Some additional updates that will be addressed this year include:
- Leveling of at least six tee boxes per year.
- New ball washers will be installed.
- Sand traps will begin to be updated.
- New tee markers, flags, and pins will be installed.

Membership pricing and green fees were also reduced.

The new owners also completely renovated the restaurant and pro shop. The pro shop will open with the golf course April 6. The restaurant is still undergoing renovations and will not be open until the end of April.
