Description
Maple Grove Country Club is one of Wisconsins older courses that have stood the test of time. Its maturity and character is unmatched by the newer courses of today. Maple Grove was designed and constructed as a nine hole course on 250 acres back in 1929, while the second nine was added in the middle 60s. The two nines compliment each other like no other. The front 9, a par 35, has gentle rolling hills which plays to 3,000 yards. Each hole is completely unique. The front side has two signature holes youll never forget. Hole #5 is a par four teeing off from an elevated tee box looking out for miles & miles over the Valley of the Town of Hamilton. It measures 405 yards with a tee shot that must carry Arrowhead Lake and land in a narrowing fairway. Hole #6 is one of those holes that youll either love or hate. A perfectly placed tee shot will place you only 80 to 100 away on this short hole, but dont be fooled. This is the hole with The Hill. To carry this obstacle takes a smooth swing and a lot of courage. Many who have tried fail to concur this magnificent hole.
