River Run Golf Course

Surprising municipal course that is a hidden gem

This was a fun course. The first 4 or 5 holes were ok and felt pretty open like a municipal...then you get back by water areas and round the back nine that is much more woodsy. The greens were in great shape this early in the season and the course was overall cut well. The course play was overall pretty nice. The pro shop was meh/small and the clubhouse was ok. Driving range was a little short. The surprise was the landmark of the children's cemetery to pay respects to history. Overall, great stop and worth the play.
