Golf Course Review: Pine Valley Golf Course
Northwoods course with a great atmosphere
Club house wasn't bad but bathrooms downstairs and out of the way was weird; nice horseshoe bar. Pro shop was ok. This course is a little tucked in out of the way but wasn't bad for the area. Rates were pretty good for the green fees but don't expect a PGA grade here. Fairways were a little grassy and weedy in places but ok. Roughs left a little long. Some hazard placement was interesting and water ran through the course in places. Greens had some bad spots in areas but really seemed to be due to more recent storms beating up the area. Mature hardwoods all over to give this a really outdoorsy course feel. The par 3 17th hole drop off was my favorite. Definitely a lot of locals that just love to chat and say hi.
