Walking Sticks are adjustable clubs invented by Phil Goodman from Mequon, Wisconsin. The set is rounded out with 3 clubs, each having ability to adjust to 3 different lofts.

Below is an interview with Phil Goodman.

Why did you invent the Walking Sticks?

I love to walk while playing golf. As I got older the bag got heavier, that's when I got the idea of the Walking Sticks. By eliminating 6 clubs from your bag, you could reduce the weight of the bag by 50%, this would enable a golfer to easily walk the course and receive all the health and playing benefits from walking. Quoting from the USGA "Golf is a rhythm and walking game and it's been estimated that walking with a light bag, pullcart or caddie provides twice the benefit of caloric expenditures as riding a cart" Another study found that " walking the course significantly reduced the low-density lipoprotein chloesterol levels and improved the ratio of total cholesterol to high-density lipoprotein cholesterol."
