Driver Review: The Bob Burns No Bananas Anti-slice Technology

This past fall I had the chance to demo the No Banana Anti-Slice Driver.

First off, I was excited about testing the club becuase I am known for my slight fade...so much so that my golfing partners call my shots the Weis Slice. (I hate the ring of that!)

About the Driver

My Product Testesters - Meet the Cast of Characters
When I have a chance to demo clubs I usually gather up a few golfing buddies of various skills to put the clubs thru the ringer.

Myself (Brian) - Under 10 handicap either straight or slight fade off the tee.
Luke - the weekend warrior, the typical bogey golfer. Hits a slight fade to slice off the tee.
Brad - Mr. Big Stick carries a mid teens handicap and hits his driver with a draw to hook.
John - beginner golfer with no handicap to report, hits a slice or a pull.

At The Range
At the range we warmed up with our own drivers sharing a large bucket of balls. We were all in mid season form hitting our typical shots. When we felt warmed up we got a second large bucket of balls.

The Results
Brian - hit less fades and had a few nice draws. Hit the ball 1/2 the time farther than his driver.
Luke - Hit all of his drives straighter and farther. Hit some monsters with an average net gain of 20 more yards.
Brad - Brad continued his power draws. He did hit a few shots straighter. We were baffled that a consistent drawer could hit some shots straight with a club offset. Maybe he was under/over compensating.
John - hit some punishing drives. Definitely straighter and longer off the tee.

The Conclusion
The GolfWisconsin.com product testing team gave the Bob Burns No Bananas Driver 5 stars out of 5. We all felt the club helped those in our research group who had a chronic fade or slice.
