Championship Season Officially Begins - Straits Opens Friday, April 23rd

The Kohler Co. Hospitality & Real Estate Group is planning a remarkable golf season this year. Tomorrow marks the officially opening of Championship Season for Kohler Golf with the opening of The Straits at Whistling Straits.

The American Club and The Old Course Hotel Golf Resort & Spa are playing host to the world's best golfers and special guests during two major golf championships. The 150th Open Championship (July 15-18) on the Old Course in St. Andrews, Scotland and The 92nd PGA Championship (August 12-15) returning to The Straits at Whistling Straits in Wisconsin will test golfers within a few weeks of each other.

Guests will have the unique opportunity to play the Original Championship Course at Blackwolf Run for the 2010 golf season, the course that will host the 2012 U. S. Women's Open and hosted the 1998 U. S. Women's Open. This incredible course won the Golf Digest award for Best New Course in 1988.
