"The Golf Courses of Lawsonia" - 36 holes The Links Course The Links Course features gently rolling terrain; bent grass fairways; multi-tiered, unusually elevated, moderately fast greens that are surrounded by about 90 strategically placed steep bunkers; deep rough; large snaking sand traps.

The Woodlands Course
The Woodlands Course is a stunning contrast to its predecessor, the Links Course. Its fairways are densely tree-lined and guarded by a series of about 80 traps, making it much tighter. Considered a modern target course, it is comprised of radical elevation, and large bent grass greens that are moderately fast and well bunkered.

The original Red and White nines were designed by Larry Packard and the course opened for play in 1976. The very popular Blue nine, quite different in its challenges, was designed by Rick Jacobson, and opened for play on July 19, 1999. With a beautiful setting and overall superb conditions, all 27 holes appeal to men, women and junior golfers and offer equal challenges to the professional or novice.

The Green Lake area is the oldest resort area west of Niagara Falls. Dining and relaxing are the best ways to spend your evening. But if you like, there is a nightlife to be found at the local establishments and there is often a festival going on in the area on any summer weekend.

What is the best time to travel?
While summers are always busy, they are never too busy to enjoy the area. You will not feel crowded in Green Lake, even on the busiest summer weekends. Weekdays are the best way to take advantage of everything Green Lake has to offer. Prices are discounted deeply on Sunday through Thursday golfing and most restaurants offer special pricing during the week. Many of my guests find that what they save with weekday pricing more than makes up for taking a few vacation days from work to enjoy golf in Green Lake.
