Veterans Golf Course

2 star due to it being a vet donated course that wish was cared for

I respect what this green space may mean to the VA hospital and the people that just need to get outside. According to the VA hospital that this is run and managed by a 3rd party.....wish they would try to represent some. Layout is long and has challenged to work the clubs but it was very disappointing how extremely long and rough everything is being left. Lost balls all over the place even in the "fairway". The greens just need some spraying and weed control. A little love and care and this could've been OK. Don't call the phone number and ask for tee times; nobody answers and some automated voice mailbox not set up. The only plus side was the $10 cost at the golf shack in the way back north east corner if you can find it and hardly anybody played it. But this could be a realistic driving range in some ways where once the ball hits the ground, good luck. Still respect what this memorial course means to people but just wish it was tended to....for all I know it's lacking funding though.
